I met Erica Allison of Allison Development Group online while commenting on other blogs. Since that time I became a reader of her blog and a fan of her work integrating vlogs to educate her clients and the curious about PR and Marketing. When she approached me about doing a guest post about podcasting I thought what better of a way to show her than to have her interview me and a panel of podcasters. The result is this podcast where Erica acts as guest host to learn more from the panel that includes your usual host and also friend of the program Adriel Hampton. Adriel is a big name in the Gov 2.0 movement and host of Gov2.0 Radio.

Twitter Releases New Video To Celebrate

As Twitter celebrates its fifth birthday today, it has unveiled a new site discover.twitter.com, featuring some of its most prominent users and a video with their explanation of how they use the service.

Follow your interests. Discover your world," says Twitter, and its new video calls upon famous Twitter users to discuss how Twitter fits with their interests -- who they follow and what they do on the site. The list of Twitter celebrities includes Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, rapper Snoop Dogg, tennis star Serena Williams, astronaut Paolo Nespoli and others.

It was five years ago today that co-founder Jack Dorsey sent the very first tweet - "setting up my twttr." The company now sees an average of 140 million tweets per day, and it has been tweeting links to some of its favorites.
